What This Does
Connecting CannMenus to Claude gives you a direct line to real-time cannabis market data inside your Claude conversation. No dashboards, no exports - just ask questions in plain English and get answers pulled from live menu, pricing, and distribution data.
How to Connect
Step 1
Go to the AI Page
Head to cannmenus.com/ai in your browser. You will see connection options for supported AI platforms.
Step 2
Click Connect to Claude
Click the "Connect to Claude" button. This opens Claude and registers CannMenus as a data source.
Step 3
Authorize Access
Follow the authorization prompt to grant Claude access to your CannMenus data. Your API key is linked automatically.
Step 4
Start Asking Questions
You are all set. Open a new Claude conversation and start asking about cannabis market data. CannMenus data is now available as a tool Claude can use.

Getting the Best Results
Tips
- Make sure the CannMenus connector is selected as an active tool before asking questions. In Claude, check the tool list at the bottom of the chat.
- Use Claude Opus or Sonnet for complex multi-step analysis. Haiku works fine for quick lookups.
- Turn on extended thinking for questions that require comparing data across states or time periods. It helps Claude plan better queries.
- When Claude asks to use a CannMenus tool, click 'Always allow' so you don't have to approve every single data request.
- Always mention the state when asking about market data so results are scoped correctly.
- Combine multiple data points in one question, like "Compare Wyld vs Wana edible pricing in Colorado."
