Your Store Locator Already Gets Traffic. Now You Can See Who's Using It.

If you have a CannMenus embedded product finder on your website, you already know it drives traffic to your retail partners. Customers search for products, find nearby dispensaries, click through to menus, and buy. But until now, that's where the story ended. You could see aggregate metrics — page views, clicks, sessions — but not who those visitors were or what they were looking for. The product finder was a black box that generated value for retailers but gave brands almost no data in return. That changes today. We've shipped a set of updates that turn the embedded product finder from a simple store locator into a visitor intelligence tool that feeds directly into your marketing stack.

Visitor Identification: Know Who's Browsing Your Products

Every visitor to your embedded product finder now gets a stable device fingerprint via Fingerprint Pro. This isn't a cookie — it's a device-level identifier that persists across sessions, even in incognito mode. It powers a new "Unique Visitors" metric in your analytics dashboard and enables returning visitor detection. But the real power comes when you connect it to your existing marketing tools. If you run Klaviyo, Retention.com, or any identity resolution tool on your website, you can send known visitor identities to the product finder via a simple postMessage call. We link that identity to the fingerprint, so even future anonymous visits are attributed to the known visitor. The result: "John from Denver visited your product finder 5 times this month, searched for 'live resin' twice, and clicked through to 3 dispensaries." That's actionable data for your sales and marketing teams. See the interactive demo to try it yourself.

Built-In Analytics: See What Your Customers Search For

The new embed analytics dashboard (accessible from your Plugged-In management portal) shows you exactly what visitors are doing inside your product finder: Top Searches — what terms people type into the search bar. If "gummies" and "live resin" dominate searches for your brand, that tells you something about demand that your sales team should know. Top Retailer Clicks — which dispensaries get the most engagement. If one retailer consistently gets more clicks than others, that's a signal about their visibility or proximity to your customer base. Top Product Clicks — which products drive the most click-throughs, at which retailers, and at what price points. This is direct demand signal from your own website traffic. Session Replay — recent visitor sessions showing event counts, page views, product clicks, and referrer sources. You can see whether visitors come from Google, social media, or direct traffic. All of this data is scoped to your organization. You only see analytics for your own embedded menus — never another brand's data.

Deep Links and QR Codes: Drive Traffic to Specific Products

The new Links & QR Codes page lets you create targeted entry points into your product finder. Instead of sending everyone to the default view, you can build deep links that pre-filter by category, tag, or search query. For example, you could create a link that opens your product finder already filtered to "Edibles" for a packaging insert, or one filtered to "Flower > Indica" for an Instagram bio link. Add UTM parameters for campaign tracking, and generate a QR code that points to a permanent short URL at cmfind.us. The short URLs are permanent — the QR code image never changes. But you can update the redirect destination at any time from the dashboard. Printed a QR code on 10,000 packages? You can change where it points without reprinting anything.

Auto-Resize: No More Double Scrollbars

A common complaint with iframe embeds is the "double scrollbar" problem — the iframe and the parent page both scroll independently, creating a clunky user experience. We've solved this with an auto-resize system. The product finder now measures its own content height and sends it to the parent page via postMessage. A small script (included in the embed code you copy from the dashboard) automatically resizes the iframe to match. The result: the iframe grows to fit its content, and only the parent page scrolls. It feels native, not embedded. Existing installations can add the resize script by copying the updated embed code from their configuration editor. New installations get it automatically. See the demo page to experience the difference.

Forwarding Events to Your Marketing Stack

Every user action in the product finder — searches, product clicks, retailer clicks, directions, phone calls — is available as a postMessage event that your page can catch and forward to any analytics or marketing tool. The analytics dashboard includes copy-paste code snippets for Google Tag Manager, Klaviyo, and generic dataLayer integration. If you use GTM, adding a single script tag to your page lets you route all product finder events to Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok, Klaviyo, or any other destination you've configured in GTM. For Klaviyo specifically, we've built a direct integration: visitor identity flows from Klaviyo to the product finder, and engagement events flow back. This means your Klaviyo segments can include "visited store locator" or "searched for edibles" as behavioral triggers for email campaigns. All of this is documented in the Embed Analytics page under your Plugged-In dashboard, with specific code examples for each integration.
